I have decided that I want to make a blog that is on a specific subject, but I seem to be having difficulty in choosing what subject to pursue. Fashion too common and not my ground of expertise however, I do enjoy fashion and my own fashion. Most subjects now are too touchy to even begin writing about them, as it is easy to anger someone with just an opinion. I suppose if I want to be a journalist I have to work on my sentence structuring as well as being able to write on one topic and stay on that topic. Relationships is a good place for me, being with family, partners, friends. I think that may be my answer, I will start on that subject and if I can't find inspiration then I will move on to another. I think something that would be good for me to do is start reading lessons online for writing techniques and such. So, I will make another blog! Hope to have people check it out, it is only going to be another one on this account, I believe that you can do that.
Until later,
Janine.

What, Is love?
How can someone truly sum up in words what love is. Is it the ache in your heart when you can't feel that person beside you? Is it the smile on your face when you see them in the morning, blankets wrapped around their shoulders, face down in the pillows? I personally have written about love many times. I believe this to be because I, myself can't get a grasp on what I want.
My boyfriend and I's story is a little weird, and yes, crazy. I would have to say, about 5 years ago, I met him. And boy, I would have to say, I believe in love at first sight, because this was it. His beautiful brown eyes hidden behind his glasses. His short dark spiky hair. What a dream, well to me.
I remember that day, at the track and field event that I got into ( I was never good at sports ) But I made it through for shot-put, of course, I didn't make it any farther. Low and behold he was there too. I felt so awkward, that twist in your stomach, that blush in your cheeks, yeah, That was me. But as usual, I went about my business of not talking to him, as I was shy at that point, plus, he was so cute, and I....Well I wasn't exactly little miss beauty queen. I wish I could remember how we started talking, but we did. I remember sitting against the fence, sweating in the heat and eating lunch with him. I couldn't believe it. But as usual my thoughts of him lost their way after he was gone.
Then once again, on a summer night, a wonderful summer night, I was out with my best friend, Meghan. We were just walking the streets laughing and having a good time. At this time, she had a crush on a person that happened to be hanging out with Tyler, Well that was a night I am sure to never forget. By the end of the night I was laying on the grass in the park, snuggled into his chest and staring at the stars. Sadly, It seemed the night ended much too quickly and we all needed to head home. The most romantic kiss I have ever had. There we stood beneath the street light in the middle of the night. Playing, wondering who would have the guts first. "So...what do you want?" ... "A hug" I reply. "Is that all." Here I go, I have to think. "A kiss on the cheek?" And sure enough I got my kiss on the cheek, but as I turn to face him once again, his arms still around me, we lean in, and kiss. I swear my heart beat right out of my chest, my face turned as red as a sunrise and my mind, it was racing faster than the speed of sound. It was.....perfect.
After that night however, there wasn't much conversation, only a here and there online. And yet again, we met, at school. We skipped a few classes, went to the pipes with friends, hung out after school and finally, we began dating. So this brings me back. What is love?
Now, we are almost at two years ( Off and on ) And even though we broke up, it seemed as though our hearts were still one. We were inseparable, it seemed that no matter what, we both found our way back to each other. So now, we are happy, and yes, we have our fights, we have our doubts, sometimes sadness. But if we didn't have these things, how would we know what it feels like to be truly happy. Because without sadness or anger, everything would feel the same.
So what is love to me?
It is being there when you need me most, it is holding you when you can't hold yourself up. It is me standing tall with you. It is the way I feel my heart pound in my chest when I gaze into your eyes. The way I never want you to let go of me when you hold me, or feel your lips pull away from mine. It is what we do for each other but most importantly, it is how we help each other grow. Because love, is ever growing, and only gets better with time.
In the end, Tyler, I will always love you.

Aftermath of the long weekend.
So, as we all know very well, May 24 weekend is the best weekend to party, if you are off work of course.
And what can I say? I am not going to pretend it isn't the same for me, cause, it is. I had a blast, I promised of a post on how my weekend went, a follow up from the previous if you will. Well where can I really start with this. It was all set in motion when my boyfriend came to pick me up, around 3:30 pm I would say. And after that it was to the corner store! For snacks and such of course. After that, we began the journey to the hunt camp!
We first had to go to his aunts and uncles to have someone to follow as this was his first time going out there without his father or mother, so after we got to his aunts and uncles we were truley on the road. Finally after about an hour and half I would say of driving we were on the road leading to the camp. This is where I get out of the truck and drive the 4-wheeler the rest of the way in. I was pretty scared, I will admit, as it was my first time driving the machine without Tyler on the back of it. Ohh yeah, did I forget to mention my boyfriends name is Tyler. Well either way, I headed up behind the truck on the 4-wheeler, this was only beginning of the adventure on the beast. And I have reason to call it a beast, really.
So we make it to the camp. We get unpacked. And then it is relaxing and a little bit of beer for the rest of the night. Ugh, I couldn't sleep though for most of the night but finally I did, Only to be woken early for a weekend. Which I say early is 9:00 am. But yes, then there was breakfast, I only had toast because I wasn't very hungry. Oh yeah! I tried venicin pepperettes and steaks for the first time, and I didn't mind it as much as I thought I would. But back to the story.
So then after breakfast we here a noise and here comes more 4-wheelers! So here begins the 5 hour ride, that was fun, exhilirating and a little frightening. We went through rivers, mudholes, swamps everything. It was insane! Some of the rivers were as high as my waist, I know this. I walked through one of them.
But all in all it was a wonderful and very entertaining weekend. I loved it.

Long weekend, finally here.
Everyone has plans for this weekend,
of course, just like everyone else so do I. Sometimes, however, I get so sick of the stress of planning things, but I know in the end I will enjoy it once my plans are set in motion.
So my plans you ask?
Going out to my boyfriends hunt camp for the weekend, as we did the same last year, I had a blast. I am really excited, I always enjoy my time outdoors, especially in the middle of no where! The pure tranquility of the trees surrounding me. I couldn't ask for a better weekend, well, other than spending it with the person I love.
We are taking his 4-wheeler on the two hour journey from home in the back of the truck to have it out there, which is fun. I have had a few run ins that have made using 4-wheelers a very tedious thing for me, I get nervous, but he has taught me to love the thrill of it again, which I thank him for.
So that is what is going on for the weekend! Should be fun. :D
I'll make another post on it when I get back home.

My goal in this..
My reason for writing in this blog , I thought you all should know, is to practice for the career I hope to achieve. Writing has always been a strong subject in my life, and something I am very passionate about. I love to write, so I hope to become a journalist, my real dream is to be able to write for a magazine. And I am going to try my hardest to work towards this goal. I know, someday it will come true.
I am hoping for people's help however. I would like people to comment on my blog posts, with, I must add constructive critism..I believe it would be very helpful. Also if people would like to give me topics to research and write about, I would love it!
So here it is, the reason I am writing this blog!
Thank you!
Hoping for help.

Is seeing really believing?
I have asked myself this question numerous times, is seeing believing, and I still say no, it is not. Sometimes it takes and open mind an and open heart to realise that we are not the only ones around. Call me crazy, call me what you want, but I do believe in spirits, I believe they are all around us. It is hard to say that something is there when you cannot see it, feel it, or hear it, however some people can feel it, and hear it. Germs, can you see them with the naked eye? Can you feel them with your fingers, No. So why is it that we believe in germs and not spirits?
I believe the reason for this is because people fear what they do not know, or understand. So they choose to not believe in it, in hopes that they will never experience the things that some people do. Out of mind, out of sight, right? But what happens when a person has that first experience with an unknown force? It can be terrifying, exhilarating and sometimes amazing. Now with this I am not telling people to believe, but what I am asking is for respect, people are called crazy for believing in something other than themselves, seeing things that most people cannot.
Children as they say are highly susceptible to seeing 'imaginary friends', I get this feeling that these imaginary friends are really spirits. At this point in a child's life, science and logical thoughts are not forced into their minds, so they are free to believe what they wish. Now maybe it would be all in their minds, and made up, but I truly believe they are seeing the work of a spirit, a guardian if you will....
If anyone has ever had a near death experience, or have known that they should have died, what stopped you? I remember one time when I was walking across the street, I had my head down and for once I didn't look back and forth across the street, but I stopped, for no reason, dead stop, the car, just inches from me whizzed by. What stopped me? I believe it was a guardian angel.
Some people who believe in god, have never seen him, or heard him, but they still believe in him. Why not believe in spirits? Now I am not saying all who believe in god dismiss the thought of spirits but some do. So I will leave this thought with all, When you think you are alone, never forget, you are never alone, there is always, always something watching.
